WHY DID WILLIAM NOT STOP THIS ??
Two military dogs brought in to protect Prince William at his RAF base were put down days after he left. A German Shepherd named Blade and Belgian Shepherd Brus were part of the unit guarding Wills, 31, at RAF Valley, Anglesey.
But after he ended a three-year deployment as a search-and-rescue helicopter pilot last week both dogs were destroyed. A Ministry of Defence spokesman said: “They were not there to protect William, they were there as a package of increased security for the base while he was there. “It is true that the two dogs have been put down. It’s no connection to him no longer being at RAF Valley. It’s entirely coincidental.
“One of them had come to the end of its working life and the other had behavioural issues, so both of them were unsuitable for reassignment elsewhere.”
