“PADDY THE HAND RAISED PANGOLIN” – GREAT WORK JENNY,TIM and KAMAL

Paddy the hand raised pangolin in Sierra Leone, has been released! This story has been hugely successful, from surviving being a statistic in the bushmeat trade, Paddy was raised by Tim and Kamal. Once he had reached his second stage of being released he was moved to Tacugama Sanctuary under the special care of veterinarian Jenny who was to become his foster mother. At the end of February 2013, Paddy was ready to return to the wild and Jenny released him into the sanctuary. Thank you to Tim, Kamal and Jenny for believing in this very special pangolin and for all their efforts in making sure that his release was possible.”
